Its ceramic body is glazed to a low-porosity finish, cutting water absorption and keeping the surface easier to maintain over years of service. The deep black glaze is fired into the body, not painted, so the color will not chip or fade with abrasive cleaning. A P-trap (wall outlet) version handles wall-spigot drainage at a 180 mm set-out.
